Ellis Chapman is a team of highly experienced VAT consultants dedicated to providing cost-effective specialist advice across the full range of VAT issues but with particular expertise in the education, charity and property sectors.
Our clients include many UK universities in addition to charities and property developers. We are also a preferred supplier to the Crescent Purchasing Consortium of Further Education colleges and provide specialist support to a number of accountancy practices. Our clients are based throughout the UK, from Scotland and Northern Ireland to the South of England.
The firm was originally formed by Bill Ellis and Andy Chapman in 2001 and has since grown from strength to strength. All our consultants were originally employed by HMRC and have subsequent extensive experience in private practice.
We have established links with other professionals such as barristers, solicitors and direct tax specialists. These links ensure that we are able to offer a comprehensive service to our clients.
Originally based in Manchester, we are now situated in new offices near to Ellesmere Port in Cheshire close to the motorway, air and rail networks.
